Uber Debuts Subscription Service Pack

Uber is testing out a monthly subscription package that allows users to access rides, scooters, bikes, and food.

The package will cost $24.99 per month and offers fixed discounts on rides and free UberEats delivery.

“From meals to wheels and everything in between, we’re always looking for ways to make Uber the go-to option for your everyday needs,” a spokesperson for Uber said. Indeed, Uber’s new subscription can net you access to discounts on all of their most popular features. If you like to use Uber’s services often, then you can unquestionably save if you subscribe. Cancelling the delivery fee on UberEats orders over a certain price threshold alone is enough to justify the subscription.

Uber launched a monthly fee service called Ride Pass last year. A Ride Pass would allow riders to get discounts on rides for a monthly fee. This, however, is the first time that Uber’s put all of its services into one neatly-packaged little box. The subscription package Uber is currently offering is certainly profitable for them, as it keeps users more active on their platforms. For users that use Uber’s services often, the deal is worth it.

Uber is also testing out newer features such as Uber Comfort, a ride choice that allows riders to set preferences for conversations and climate control. The feature will be available to riders in North America. It will cost users more than a standard Uber ride, but also offers higher-rated drivers and more leg space.
