Trump Attacks Google For ‘Attacking Him’ With Search Results

“Google, and Twitter, and Facebook; they’re really treading on very, very troubled territory and have to be careful. It’s not fair to large portions of the population,” this is what U.S. President Donald Trump feels towards ‘biased search results.’

In a series of recent tweets by Trump, he is calling out Google for having an alleged bias of search results for ‘Trump news.’ This has people questioning tech companies if their unintentionally discriminating against right-wing websites or in broader terms Conservatives.

Trump’s Economic Advisor, Larry Kudlow, saying that they’re looking into whether Google’s search engine should impose stricter regulation practices by the government. When asked if they have any proof of altering search results, Kudlow said that they do not have any proof at this time.

Google’s response to this allegation says that their search engine results are unbiased and doesn’t seek to manipulate political ideologies through their search engine. Heavier regulation is also the opposite of what tech giants want with many in Silicone Valley that agree, many tech companies are actually coming up with solutions to these problems to avoid having to increase regulation.

With Google being one of the biggest names in the tech industry it seems very unlikely they would go against the unspoken tech code to be proactive about these issue to avoid regulation. After-all, Trump did repeal net neutrality and this is one of the possible set-backs that analysts predicted before the repeal.
