Reforming Your Kitchen

Redoing any room in your house can be a hassle, but the kitchen usually takes the cake for the most expensive and most difficult. That’s why WiseDime is introducing you to a new way to save money and labor for kitchen extravagance with a company called Reform.

Built upon the feet of Michael Anderson and Jeppe Christensen, when they founded Reform in 2014 with the idea of transforming a staple carpentry company into an extraordinary custom service, all at an affordable budget. How do they do it? They use furniture from IKEA. That’s right. Your one-stop shop for all things hand-built and Swedish just got a lot more interesting.

According to their website, a basic small kitchen renovation could cost as little as $2400 dollars, for all new and refined cabinets with basic paint and finishes. Reform also does medium-sized kitchens, L-shaped kitchens, and of course, bathrooms and wardrobes. Some of the more expensive versions can run you up to $13,000, but it saves you from all the labor and time-consuming aspects of remodeling.

Some people pay up to $30,000 for their renovations through other big-named brands, and while Reform won’t necessarily do the appliance work for you, you can get a picture-perfect finish at a fraction of the cost.
