Chick-Fil-A on Track to Becoming Third Most Popular Fast Food Chain in US

If ever there was a testament to the philosophy of “product quality above all else,” it’s Chick-Fil-A. Over the last six years, the fast food company has been mired in controversy due to the heavily conservative views of its top brass. From innocuous elements like being closed on Sundays to steeper controversies like donations to groups against same-sex marriage, the consumer public has found no shortage of objectionable actions. However, in remarkable spite of all of that, the company has seen a meteoric rise in recent profits, with customers attributing their favor to the sheer quality of the food. Even those who disagree with the corporate mindset can’t deny that it’s really good chicken.

According to a report from Kalinowski Equity Research, Chick-Fil-A’s stunning success has put it on the track to becoming the third most popular fast food chain in the United States, only a stone’s throw from Starbucks and McDonald’s. The Kalinowski report says that out of all other fast food chains out there right now, Chick-Fil-A may be the first that McDonald’s actually needs to be concerned about competition from.

Chick-Fil-A is currently projecting total earnings for 2018 around $10.4 billion. It has also been opening 100 new locations per year for the past few years, a trend which does not show any signs of slowing.
