Airbnb Is Doing Its Part For California Fire Victims

Though the California fire has been contained, the damage has already been done. These fires have left whole counties devastatingly damaged. Airbnb has decided to do its part by offering free housing to residents left homeless due to the fires.

Airbnb has offered free housing through the month of November. This is a huge offering for these victims who have just lost everything, and Airbnb is making sure that they can at least have a roof over their heads. Those seeking shelter just have to log onto the Airbnb disaster relief page and click ‘find shelter.’ From there they will be able to select a place to stay. Airbnb is waiving all costs for these rental locations. Airbnb has also put security defense on this website to stop people who were not affected by the fires and are just looking for a place to stay.

If you live in the California area or have a rental home or even space to rent, you can sign up to be part of the disaster relief housing program. Already 2,200 Airbnb users have signed up to assist with the relief housing.
