Millennials are Changing What it Means to be a Business Owner

Millennials are currently hard at work, and are changing the definition of business ownership.

According to Business Insider, those between the ages of 22 and 37 are taking new approaches to becoming their own bosses.

Further research also reveals that millennials are more likely to offer benefits to their employees than their older counterparts. Younger workers also differentiate themselves in the methods they employ for finding top talent. Millennials are also 66% more likely than their older counterparts to offer benefits including 401k and paid time off.

The news coming in regarding millennials has been mixed for years now, and it would appear that there are some truths to various stereotypes. It is true that millennials are not performing brilliantly in the workplace, and many do not even make it through their probation periods. On the other hand, millennials are proving to be entrepreneurial in ways that surpass previous expectations. The fact of the matter is that millennials are changing the American workplace in ways that line up with their own places in the changing global economy.
