How The “Future” is Effecting The Technology of the Past

I don’t think it should come as a shock to you when I say that we live in an ever changing world. One moment we are driving down to Blockbuster in hopes that they actually have the DVD we want to rent, and the next moment we are streaming full TV series on Netflix.Technology is rapidly changing the way we do things. Because of these changes, there will soon come a time when a few of the things we use regularly today may or may not be relevant in the future.As this video states, do you actually think in 10 years that students will be renting textbooks from a bookstore? Maybe. But realistically if you look at the trends starting to occur now, textbook are going digital. Perhaps in the near future all textbooks will be digital documents you can download from the internet.Everything from the way we drive our cars to the way we use electricity will soon be changing all over the world. It really makes you wonder what exactly our lives will look like simply by the end of the decade. I don’t know about you – but I’m still hoping for flying cars.I mean how cool would that be?!
