This week marks National Small Business Week, which acknowledges the more than half of Americans who own or work for a small business. This year, attention has been brought to the fact that small businesses are more susceptible to fraud than are larger businesses. The Better Business Bureau advises small businesses to watch out for phishing and tech support scams. The BBB also says the best way to avoid these scams is by training your staff to refrain from clicking on suspicious links or answering calls from individuals claiming to be with the IRS or even the BBB.
