Here are the Airlines with Seat-Back Screens

Not all airlines are equal, especially when it comes to in-flight entertainment.

When you’re getting ready for a long flight, it can be nice to know that you will have something to do while you’re just sitting down and waiting. For this reason it can be helpful to know which airlines will keep you from becoming bored out of your mind.

Believe it or not, some airlines, including American Airlines, are scrapping seat-back screens. However, not all airlines have done away with them because they know that their most loyal customers will notice and often take offence. For a stark contrast, we can look to Jet Blue, which has not done away with the screens. In fact, Jet Blue just debuted their new 162 seat Airbus 320s, which will feature comfortable seats and more leg room on top of in-flight TV. Delta will also be holding onto seat-back screens.

These days, consumers are accustomed to being able to consume digital content in a personalized manner. Some airlines, such as Delta and Jet Blue, have recognized this and are taking steps to ensure their customers can enjoy all the entertainment they need. This can include the capacity to watch a movie or listen to music while having access to your favorite social media app, for example.
