Cities around the world are ranked by Mercer, a global consultancy. They look at a list of factors including everything from schools to housing. Vienna, a city which is often seen in these kinds of leader boards, has made the top of the list.

The Mercer study analyzed over 230 cities worldwide. The study didn’t only take in the basic data from statisticians, but they measured the natural environment and social environment as well. The study determined that if you want your business and employees to excel, you should move them all the Vienna. In fact, Vienna has topped the list for a solid decade now, with Zurich in Switzerland following closely behind. The only city in North America to make the top ten was Vancouver in Canada. However, reduced crime rates have seen New York City rise in the rankings. Most US cities included in the study actually declined this year.
