Will Smith launched a limited edition Fresh Prince merchandise selection which is certain to spur some nostalgia.

The hit 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air produced a massive following during its six-season run, and is still fondly remembered today as one of the most influential sitcoms (and perhaps TV shows in general) of all time.

Will Smith, the star of The Fresh Prince, released a collection of merchandise last Thursday which includes multiple collectibles. The star himself took to Instagram that day to offer a preview for one of his “heat reactive shirts.” Other apparel being sold includes hats, shorts, hoodies, keychains, notebooks, and wallets. The catch was that the merchandise was only available for the 72 hours following Smith’s announcement, and the offer appears to be over for now.

Merchandise surrounding hit TV shows can sometimes appreciate value over time. While items such as cars and jewelry often lose a huge portion of their value immediately after being sold, the right collectibles can only ever appreciate value, even years after the first sale is conducted, provided, of course, that the item in question is kept in mint condition. If you snagged any of this new merchandise and don’t mind never using/wearing it, you might have a little nest egg in a couple of decades.
