The All-In-One Wallet Card

It’s helpful to have at least three credit cards in your wallet, that you strategically spread out your spending on, in order to build credit. But, with more credit cards comes a thicker and heavier wallet. There is a technology in the works that not only slims your wallet back down, but alleviates the worry of always carrying multiple credit cards. The All-In-One Wallet Card was recently showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

The 65,000 pixelated display, set on the bottom of the card, allows you to scroll through your different payment options to choose the one you want to use. The card number, information, expiration date, etc. will all show up on the display. Once you select the desired card you want to pay with, it will rewrite the data on the magnetic strip and the chip to align with that specific card.

Since the display screen needs some sort of energy to run on, the manufacturers took care of that in an interesting way. The card has a recharging chip called a “harvesting chip” that harvested energy and recharges the battery. So, this card has no expiration date. The card also has a two-way cellular communication with banks which allows banks to detect fraud easier, the manufacturer says.
