Money Saving Mistakes

You may think you’re the smartest saver when it comes to money, but chances are you do one of the seven things I’m about to list. You never know where that extra pocket change could come in handy, so make sure to cut out the bad money-saving habits you think you’re doing right.

1. Buying In Bulk
It’s going to go bad, so just leave it on the shelf at the store.
2. Cash Back Credit Cards
One missed payment and you’re gonna get hit with huge APR fees.
3. Unlimited Cellular Plan
You’re not going to use all the data a regular plan can cover, so don’t pay for what you aren’t taking advantage of.
4. Always Buying Cheap, Off-Brand Items
You’ll spend more money buying these frequently when they break than when you actually buy a more expensive, quality item.
5. Subscription Services
These monthly fees catch up quick, so cut out the ones you don’t need.
6. Buy More, Save More
The whole philosophy is a joke that gets you to spend more money on overpriced items so that when you get your free item or discount, you’ve already technically paid for it.
7. Going Out Of Business Sales
It may be tempting, but many stores raise ticket prices before stamping them down to trick you into thinking you’re getting a better deal when you’re not.

Are you guilty of any of these? Maybe you aren’t the smart and savvy saver you thought you were!
