The jackpot for the Mega Millions Christmas lottery drawing to be held tonight, December 25th, has reached an impressive $321 million. The cash payout option, according to CBS Boston, measures in around $193.7 million. While we’re on the subject of lotteries, Wednesday’s Powerball will feature a jackpot of $294 million with a cash payout option of $177.6 million.
As a reminder, nobody has won either of these jackpots since last October, a $1.5 billion winning ticket that has yet to be actually claimed (if you’re out there, winner, you’ve got until April to claim the money). The chance of actually matching all six numbers on a Mega Millions ticket is around one in 302.5 million, so play smart.
