If you are someone who tends to have the spotlight follow you around and you’re doing well in life and feel like need to tell everyone you’re talking to, just don’t do it. Stay humble and ask other people questions. Find out about others lives and what they have been doing since high school. You never know that quiet kid in the back of the room could be the head director at a fortune 500 companies. Who has bragging rights now? Allow of those things that seem like brags just try and avoid.

Studies have even shown that when you’re at a gathering and others start bragging about themselves and saying how successful hey have become to put you down most of the time you will fire back with some brags about yourself to heal your psychological wound and make you feel good about yourself. Just avoid this all together. Remember those who tend to have the most success and money usually don’t brag. Take it from the professionals and it might do you some good at your next reunion or social gathering!
