How to Salvage Shrunken T-Shirts and More

Don’t Toss Your Shrunken T-Shirt!

Did you know that you can save that shrunken t-shirt from your first rock concert with common household items? No need to frantically start searching eBay to replace your priceless memory, just head to the medicine cabinet of your bathroom and grab a few supplies.

Start by filling your sink of up with cold water, if your stopper doesn’t work, just fill a washtub or basin. Next pour in 1/4 cup of any old hair conditioner you have lying around. Remember, that one you just had to have but it left your hair greasy? That will work perfectly.

Mix the water and conditioner thoroughly then lay the shirt flat in the water and allow to soak for fifteen minutes, then remove it and soak in cool clean water until the hair conditioner is all gone. Take the shirt out of it’s bath and lay on a towel and stretch gently. Once the shirt is back to it’s regular size, leave it on the towel to air dry and… now you have your favorite shirt back, $20 bucks saved!
