The next generation of wireless earbuds is here.

The announcement for Apple’s new AirPods came on Wednesday morning. These new devices will come with an array of intuitive and convenient new features to kick off the second generation of the world’s most popular wireless earbuds.

The new AirPods will come with wireless charging, Siri support, and a longer battery life, among other improvements. They will come with a new wireless charging cases which use standard Qi charging, which is found on almost all wireless chargers. The updated “Hey, Siri” feature will now be hands-free, and the new H1 chip is supposed to add an hour of talk time.

This has been a busy week for Apple, and a great week for Apple fans. Apple just released new iPads on Monday and refreshed iMacs on Tuesday. The three-hit combo has made this a great week for Apple. The new AirPods will be in store next week, and will carry a price tag of $199.
