Disney & Coca-Cola Team Up for Star Wars Theme Park

Two of the most visible brands in the world have just teamed up to create a new galaxy far, far away.

Coca-Cola and Disney Parks & Resorts are launching several joint projects and products together. The two hyper-popular brands will work together and bring customized bottles of Coca-Cola and other beverages to the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The bottles will be designed to play as a role-playing prop for the new theme parks, and will appear as droids featuring rustic imagery from the Star Wars universe. The new bottles will be spherical and take beverage role-playing to a completely different level (don’t ask us what level it was at before).

These new “lands” or theme parks will open in California and Florida. The idea is to create a deeply immersive experience that make park-goers feel like they are a part of the Star Wars franchise. The parks will include rides aboard the Millennium Falcon and amenities in locations such as Oga’s Cantina. Coca-Cola has also collaborated with Disney’s Imagineers to design the droid Coke bottles. It is believed that park-goers will want to take these bottles home and keep them as souvenirs.
