3 Worst Buys on Amazon

If you shop online, odds are that you’ve bought something from the mega-online-shopping retailer, Amazon. Their site is fast, easy to use and often has free shipping. While we praise the convenience of the yellow smile, there are a few items with better deals elsewhere. Here are a few products to shop for on other sites or in brick-and-mortar stores:

  • Clothes – When it comes to clothing, Amazon isn’t the best place to get a great deal, especially on brand-name apparel. Instead try stores and sites that specialize in that brand name apparel and wait for a special sale or reduced priced before you buy.
  • Food – While it might be convenient to get a box of groceries delivered to your door, shopping for these food products on Amazon can’t beat warehouse shopping prices. Sometimes it’s worth is to push a cart around for a while.
  • Diapers – The Amazon Mom program is often touted as a good way to save money on your baby because you get a discount of up to 20% on the diapers that you subscribe to receive each month. The catch is that you must have an Amazon Prime Account to join costing $99 a year.

So think twice before one-click shopping these items on Amazon, instead save your hard earned money and shop around on other sites and in locals stores for the best buy.
